Oaklands High School is one of the leading and most sought after Mathematics and Science-Focus high schools in our district, providing quality education. Our school motto “Scientia Illustrat” which means “Knowledge Enlightens” has been the foundation of our teaching principles, both within and outside the classroom environment over the last 65 years.

Aristotle once said that, “educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”. Even as we provide education to match the advances in technology as we prepare for the 4^th industrial revolution, we direct our learners ahead with Oaklands’ ethos of integrity and dignity. We endeavour constantly to instil these qualities in our learners. We endeavour to provide our students with a platform to think, express, and exhibit their skills. We, therefore, encourage our students to participate in the various clubs and sporting codes that the school offers throughout the year.
